TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Any mention of Madelene Tours, Madelene Tours and Safaris or the Company refers to Madelene Tours; Inc.
Payment
Due to the new terms and conditions now applied by parks, hotels and lodges, our new terms of payment are 25% deposit to confirm a safari and the balance (75%) must be received 45 days prior to arrival/commencement of safari.
In cases where the bookings are made less then 45 days before the commencement of the tour, full payment must be made on booking.
The company reserves the right to cancel the booking if payment is not received in accordance with these terms.
All payments by wire transfer to our bank account (details to be provided accordingly). It is our pleasure to inform you that we will soon start accepting payments by Credit Cards!
Cancellation
In the event of a cancellation, cancellation fees shall be applied as follows:
- Within the period of 13 to 55 days before commencement of the safari, a fee of 25% of the total cost of the safari shall apply.
- Within the period of 12 to 8 days before commencement of the safari, a fee of 50% shall apply.
- Within 7 to 0 days before the commencement of the safari, a fee of 100% of the total cost of the safari
We reserve the right to cancel a safari in which case a full and immediate refund of all payments received will be made.
Alterations
We reserve the right to alter arrangements of the route or to cancel the operation of a scheduled safari should conditions necessitate. We also reserve the right to decline to accept or retain any person as a member of any safari at any time, in which event an equitable amount will be refunded.
Liability
Travel poses risks. You are therefore advised to take adequate insurance cover as we accept no responsibility for any personal illness, injury, delays loss or damages from any cause whatsoever. We and our agents act only as agents of the passenger in all matters relating to safaris. The appropriate law of the country dictates our liability to passengers.
Your Images
Madelene Tours reserves the right to take photographs during the operation of any trip and to use them
for promotional purposes. By booking with Madelene Tours, Travelers agree to allow their images to be
used in such photographs. Travelers who prefer that their images not be used are asked to identify
themselves to their tour guide at the beginning of their program.
Note: Payment of the tour price constitutes your acceptance of the terms and conditions set herein.
