What's Included in the Safari Prices?
Safaris include:
- All park entrance, camping, lodge and administrative fees
- All meals and bottled drinking water
- 4WD transportation while on safari
- Staff salaries and fees
- Transfer to/from Arusha
- Hotels in Dar Es Salaam/Arusha/Moshi where noted
- Camping safaris include sleeping tents, sleeping mattresses & pillows, tables & chairs (shower and toilet tents available on some itineraries)

What's Included in the Kilimanjaro Prices?
Kilimanjaro Climbs include:
- All park entrance, camping, hut and rescue fees
- All meals and filtered drinking water while on the mountain
- Camping equipment including mountaineering mess and sleeping tents (Mt. Hardwear, North Face, Marmot), table & chairs, sleeping mattresses & pillows
- Guide, cook and porter salaries and fees
- Baggage porterage
- Transport to/from national park gates
- Transport to/from the airport
Note: Prices do not include gratuities, soda/alcohol unless otherwise noted, health/evacuation insurance, visa fees, international airfare, laundry, and meals not noted on the itinerary.
Tipping:
Not normally obligatory but a tip for exceptional service - a maximum of 10% - will be appreciated.
Tipping Scale:
-Driver Guide $20 per day – this is from the whole group, not per traveler
-Cook (if on camping safari) $10 per day – this is from the whole group, not per traveler
-Chief Mountain Guide $20 per day – this is from the whole group, not per climber
-Assistant Guide $15 per day – this is from the whole group, not per climber
-Cook $10 per day – this is from the whole group, not per traveler
-Each Porter $5 per day – this is from the whole group, not per climber
